Starch or no starch?

I had fun observing the class doing the experiment using iodine.
The following are some pictures of different kinds of food and their iodine test results.

3. Present the war hero by using puppet.

4. Present within the allocated time of 5 minutes.

You may present your war hero (puppet) with the use of a song, skit or power point slides.

Attitude Rocks!

We always emphasize that good behaviour is the key to success. In order to behave well, you have to make sure that your attitude is positive. Good positive attitude enables us to succeed in many areas, be it in studies, sports or ambition.

To all my pupils, keep up the good positive attitude! You can achieve anything if you have a positive attitude.

Satellites phones vs normal phones (Science, Primary 5)

We have learnt the use of satellites in Unit 1. However, we were confused about using public phones to contact our friend located at another part of the same country. Actually, if we are calling our friends within the country, our phones are linked to telephones lines and cables. Satellites are not used here.
When we travel to Malaysia, our mobile phones will have the 'auto-roaming' service. Yes, our mobile phones act as satellites phones.
Find out more about how telephone works and how satellite phones works.PS: Look out for the interesting animation.

====================================================================

I was impressed with the GPS, the device that makes use of the satellite to locate the position of our family vehicle. It helps me to get from one location to another location last weekend. I learn to love Science more as it is Science and technology that allow us to enjoy such convenience.
